Ubuntu Software Center is a program that comes preinstalled with Ubuntu and is the main (and recommended by the distribution) way to obtain, install and uninstall applications for the distribution. Since version 3.0.4, included with Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat) the Ubuntu Software Center also acts as an app store where people can find commercial software - including games.
